Today I loaned a head out to my buddy Al who needed it for some testing. Turns out this head which was off a 427 bbc truck has the biggest intake port volume of any oval port heads we've seen to this date. Al's cyl buddy poured it and the sucker came in at 280cc's WOW, we have a new head to mess with. I think when I get them done they will make some killer power in a 12:1 compression application.
