Zman Schools a cobra

While cruzin' home last night late minding our oun buis. There was a black 03-04 cobra convrt. whizzed by and it peaked his interest to see if it could keep up to the SS.
He nailed the SS and the cobra was far behing as the SS took off first.
Second contest the cobra took off first and the SS did not.
The 3rd contest both cars got a good start and ran up through the gears with the SS putting 2 car lengths on cobra and and the Zman let off as it could have been worse. I am sure the cobra owner was mighty surprised.
I did not look like one of the cars with a ton of power adders and was a nice car and the owner gave us a thumbs up and we did the same.
Was a fun race.

Also...this could never have happened the way 602 says because we all know a N/A LS1 can't beat a 4 cam, 32 valve, supercharged Cobra, let alone one with possible mods....

Damn you lucky Zman I haven't got to dig race a cobra yet. I hit 2 this year at stoplights and one was even out in the boonedocks later at night and NOTHEN...

The ones I meet must be going for gas mileage.
