Carbon fiber hood

So it's a sandwich composite with foam. That's got to be strong as hell. Must have been interesting with all of the compound curves on that thing.

Some of the corners I was able to roll the foam around. Most of them, I had to stop at the corner and start on the other side of the corner. I am pretty sure this thing is bullet proof.

I should have it on Minnetonka by next weekend.

I have a customer that had his 1969 T/A fiberglass hood blow open and damaged. I installed one of my fiberglass hoods with removable scoops. These are laser straight right out of the mold and needed only about a golf ball size of bondo and only because one of the rear corners was not perfect when it came out of the mold. No fitting or sanding the sides to make it fit.
