Porky's and the area have died it was nice all weekend and went doen there a couple of times and then went late around 11pm and the streets are dead. Gas prices and the all are getting things slowed down this year. Used to be cruisng in the area untill around 1am but it is quiet this year.

Cool!!! This is GREAT NEWS!!! Maybe the real hot rodders will return to Porkys instead of the pickup trucks and tuners.

Gas prices go up for everyone, not just trucks and "tuners".

That doesn't even make sense. It has nothing to do with why I'm happy the trucks/tuners have decided to go elsewhere.

If that's why they aren't around making a bad name for people in the car hobby that's fine. It has nothing to do with why I'm happy the trucks/tuners have decided to go elsewhere. What I don't like about that crowd is the "fast and furious" mentality. That is not to say I don't like to see a little impromptu contest, but this wannabee street racer lifestyle is stupid. Personally, whatever gas costs it costs. Gotta have it, so no point in complaining until we change leadership. The current administration isn't finished filling their pockets yet.
