You can go to like a Fun Day at Rock Falls and it's like $35 I think. Nobody will make fun of you. I once saw a kid out there in a Ford Escort and he was running 18s in the 1/4 and I saw him in the pits taking the seats out of his car trying to reduce weight. :lol:

I dunno...I like to stand around for 2-3 hours then move around a little, then sit for a couple more hours and maybe see one or two or maybe no races.

Not much different than going to the track other than you see alot of racing

Never mind thought you were someone else your car still looks familiar but I suppose ours aren't really rare cars lol. I never really got into any of the other local forums, I've posted maybe a handfull of times on each, but this seems like a site that I could get into. I like the atmosphere seems like there will end up being a great mix of cars on this site.

hey i ran at grove creek. i think i ran you as well. you had the black camaro auto with stall headers running 8.5's i believe. i was in this.

Yes I remember running you you've got a great looking car, I ended up running a best 1/8th of 8.0 at the rock, grove is the slipperiest track I've been to. Have you done any more work to it?

thanks. yeah that track sucks. i went there to practice my 60 foots and the first 60 feet at that track are the worst lol. since then i have done a stage two clutch and a light weight flywheel. dyno numbers were 335hp 346tq. long tubes are hanging in the garage plus a 90mm slp maf. doing that new exhaust and getting rid of the smog pump and tuning it

whats your best quarter mile time?

12.54 was the best I went in the 1/4 last year I could have probably squezzed a 12.4 with a better DA but oh well I was happy with the results. I've got a cam going in it now so I'm hoping to see 11's with traction and a low DA if not it'll be time for nitrous . Those are some stout dyno numbers with no bolt ons I bet it runs hard at the track, what did you end up running in the 1/4 last year? The long tubes will really wake your car up, I know after putting mine on I felt a big difference.

If you can get that thing to hook and keep the rear end together you'll be seeing mid to low 12's easy, my mph on the 12.5 run was 108. The rear on these cars are crap though the last time I went to Rock Falls a bolt on m6 that came with blew the rear after 2 runs on drag radials.
