I was reading a thread on another forum (http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62552) and it got me to thinking.
So I ask the same question here. Which impresses you more? Seeing a big-money car run fast and put down the numbers or a budget car that is a well thought out combo but can't run quite as quick/make as much power on a dyno.

! Certainly no hard feelings
! I know that I haven't done much without either paying for it or having a definite "guiding hand" while doing the work. I think a big reason is because I just don't have a lot of the "know how" to do a lot of the stuff. I do know that with this Malibu that I probably wouldn't be any where near as far as I am if I had to foot the bill for labor on top of everything. I have been using the "guiding hand" as much as possible to learn more so I can do more myself. Yeah, they're telling me how to do stuff but they're also letting me go through the motions then, which is how I learn best.
