I am going out in a couple of weeks to try and get my 9. After watching the tape I see that the car would have been on a way better pass had I not hit the spray out of the hole, so next time I will do the 40ft. hit and go back to the 82 nos jet and see what happens. I will have the old cam and a better intake too boot. The ET is there just need to get the power to the ground.

I am just a step away from the 540 project as I already have most of the parts. Next year we will see what comes up. The most I really want the car to do is 10 flat otherwise I got to get into a bunch spendy safety junk and then have to cage the car, it's not worth putting that kind of dough into this chassis.Originally posted by shagwag View PostComment
