I hate people who try to ruin headers with a hammer. I bought some Hooker super comps for the bird as I want to drop the engine in it next year from the Camaro lock, stock and barrel. I think I ran pretty good with the el-cheapo headers but they are not going to be a good fit for the Bird. As I stated I got these headers for a song as some idiot though they would fit his truck. So today I cut open the almost completely smashed tube, then I found an old pair of 1 3/4" headers and cut out the part I needed and now I just have to weld it in. It should be fun next year with an engine that has proven performance at the track with some good parts and a 6 speed to boot. First guy on my list with be the Timmy Time chevelle. Let the races begin.
