Anyone remember Viking Racing engines? If I remember right, they
    were up near Princeton.

There was I guy working there named Don ???. He was very well known
for setting up SB Chevy heads. I believe he used to race a early Chevy II
wagon out at Twin City. Does anyone remember his name?

Yeah, first did business with them when they were across the street from MAS on Hennepin. They built the engine in my brother's Showdown Camaro. In '75, that car ran a best ET of 11.58 and trapped 118-119 with a 355 SBC. Dave Dewars was a class act. I had him do some cylinder heads up in Princeton for my Chevelle after they closed the Mpls shop. He did more circle track though. He appreciated my business but said Bruce and Kenny at Total Engine in Bloomington could do the quality work I needed. I've stuck with Total ever since. I had them do the engine in my son's Typhoon. 12.80s @ 103 with stock converter, no headers and pea-shooter turbo. Not sure who the guy with the Nova is.

Thanks for the reply. One of my old bosses was a friend of the owner
and was also a manager at MAS for a bit. He introduced me to Dave
and to this guy Don ???. Years later while working at Grand Prix Vans,
Don ?? was brought in as a parts guy. Larry DeForrest
(super gas camero) owned Gran Prix and Aerolite custom trailers.
Don ?? worked parts, Marv Broin (the tech guy from Twin City) was
one of the sales guys. Gary Groustra (???class big block 48 Anglia)
      was the production foreman.

But for the life of my, I can't remember Don's last name.
      It was 25 years ago.

I remember Don but didn't know he had a Nova wagon or worked at Gran Prix with DeForest. That's why I didn't think it was that Don. Only remember him racing the '56 chicken wagon. I do remember him working at MAS though. Don is a super guy.

Here wasn't there long. The place went tits up just a couple months
after he started----and you are right, I remember him as being a
                very nice guy.

                Thanks for the help.

Dewars is cool as sh-t. Sold him a trailer of chrome-molly a few years back. I believe he helped and/or developed the 'Mastadon' hemi head. The only aluminum head allowed in nostalgia top fuel racing in the early years. It was cast not billet...
