That will be changing for GM when the next Camaro comes out. It's based on lightweight, extremely rigid, corner-carving Alpha platform. It's supposed to be in the 3500 lb range, with a 50:50 ratio. And the new Alpha-based Buick GN & GNX twin turbo coupes are supposed to hit the market in 2016-2017.

We'll have muscle cars from GM that go like a bat outta hell in the straights and embarrass M-series BMWs in the corners.
