Ford loyalists claim Chev LS is a copy of their 351W

Just about every time I browse through a car site, the Ford clowns want to claim a piece of LS popularity.
They keep claiming the LS is a copy of Ford's 351W.
Why would Chev engineers copy a discontinued 351W that Ford gave up on and replaced with their modular v8s?

Ford ripped off GM on the Big Block Chevy head many years ago that's a fact. Funny thing now though Ford's new 7.3 is a direct rip off of GM's LS engine.
