Holy crap, I cannot remember the last time it was this HOT for the BTT 50's car show. Friday was pretty good (and the best day) but Sat. and today sucked. I left the car home on the 2 weekend days as I for sure know it would have gone in the 210° range sitting in traffic plus you're miserable in the hot car too boot. I hope Summer Cruise is a little cooler, have to see how the new 468 works out for the show this year.

Haven't been to BTT 50's since around 2007, when I went with my buddy Mark with his '61 Ford F100 Unibody salt-flats racing truck. Was a blast! Shot hundreds of pics. He's been working on sprucing-up his truck, so he didn't enter it this year. Was over there a couple weeks ago & it's looking good! Should be ready for next year's show! We usually get together on Thursdays & do some car & Ham radio stuff, so I'll be getting together with him tomorrow. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Didn't know about it. Plus, both of my cars are F'd up right now. Brakes are still out on the GN, and my Subie's dash lit up last Wed. Brought it to the shop on Thurs. They didn't find anything wrong with a quick scan, so they cleared the lights. But the dash lit up again the next day. Check engine & stability-control lights are on, brake warning & cruise lights are flashing. I assume it's a speed sensor or something like that.
Bringing it back to the shop tomorrow morning.
