This past weekend at Summer Cruise my Camaro crapped out right in staging as I got there. JJ helped tow me to our parking spot, and with the help from Mustang Bob (who I helped last year) and the Z-man for bringing the floor jack for me to fix my starter so I could get the car home. As for the starter I bought from O'reilly's the sale went ok but the manager never told me it was a re-built starter which lasted about 2 days. After the install I got 3 starts out of this POS starter and then it crapped out grinding and making lots of noise. Upon getting under the car to check this out I found a cup that popped out of the starter and this POS has a ton of end play and only engages the flexplate by 3/8" not going to start very well. Put in my trusty old GM heavy factory starter and BAM starts and fires right up. Took the old one back for a refund, they would not do that nor would they replace it, so STAY AWAY FROM O'REILLY'S AUTO PARTS, shop elsewhere and not get the run around from these clowns. This is the absolute last time I shop there.
