    My votes for the Ariens

Had Toro lawnmowers, but never a snowblower. My Ariens Deluxe 28" kicked ass!

I have 3 big Ariens snow blowers
      1. 11528 13hp model
      2. Deluxe 28 with a 15hp engine I tossed on it
      3. Deluxe 30 with a 291cc engine and auto turn with heated grips. It's the best of the bunch but the 11528 blows snow farther than all of them.

Yeah, my neighbor came over and actually walked into my garage a few weeks ago while I was swapping my tractor to mulch blades so I could bag leaves.
He actually stood there and looked at my Toro and said I shouldn't have bought it because they all clog up. He said he knew two people with the same one and they just clog.
I was not in a good mood and asked why they would make a snow thrower that would just clog up. He said so they could make money!
And he went on to brag about how superior his Ariens is and that he spent extra for his "commercial duty" because he has money from selling his WI cabin and doesn't know what to do with it..
Well, the last snow, he started his smaller driveway before me and I finished my 120 ft while he was still blowing his. I could see him glancing over to see if mine was gonna clog.
Afterwards, I stood there smirking at his dumb ass.
The idiot didn't realize 6" is not deep enough to clog a thrower even when the city comes around the curve and dumps the thick wet stuff at the end of both of ours.'
On top of that, after he finished, he was out there with his snow pusher so he could clean down to the pavement.
My friend who is a regional manager at Toro sold me a new one in '92 that lasted 33 years before the gearbox finally broke, so I had no reason to go with another brand, no matter how "superior" they're supposed to be. He likes his and I'm happy with mine. He needs to stay in his lane.

I think he's jealous as you have a nice new shiny snow blower, LOL. I have had two used 2 stage snow blower that I've sold and both plowed snow very well. My Toro CCR200-E was the best thing I ever bought. Used it for 25 years, gave it to my Son who used it for 5 years and I sold it to a couple for $50. Why? I just didn't need it and they loved the little thing. I have a Toro 721-E that I put a new engine on, paddles and I added the adjustable side chute assy. That phuker works great and I'm keeping it.

Joel, my Deluxe 28 now has a 414cc Predator engine on it now and that sucker throws snow and never bogs down. I also have an 11528 with a 13hp Tecumseh engine plus my Deluxe 30 has a 291cc engine but it could always use a bigger one, LOL.

Just picked this 3 stage Troy Bilt today for $180 bucks. It was a pretty good deal.
