Woman unfortunately lost her life after ICE agent fires through the windshield.
I feel bad for the kids she left behind.
Reminds me when years ago, JR asked me to come to north Minneapolis with him to "minister" to some of the people in drug houses.
I commended him for using his time for that, but told him I wasn't willing to risk my life for those who most likely won't change their lifestyle.
Plus, my obligation was to my family first.
So, my point is this...although protesting is part of our constitutional right, one has to be aware of the risks involved.
In my opinion, unless you're on the sidewalk protesting peacefully, you put yourself at extreme risk of injury or death. Is ones desire to protest more important than making sure you can be there to provide for your kids? Although one may be tempted by emotion and adrenaline to protest, it's pretty selfish in my opinion.
I chose my fights wisely, challenging ICE agents is not one of them.
Regardless of what anyone else said, the mayor with vulgar language on national TV and governor both stoked the flames which could cause another mess.
They fail to realize (maybe due to amnesia) that if they didn't encourage sanctuary city policies, the ICE agents wouldn't be here in the first place.
