I just scored me a std. bore 1973 454 short block in fantastic shape for $250. The guy gave me an extra crane cam and lifters, 2 sets of pushrods, 8 of those main cap bolts that support the windage tray (each cost $36 YIKES!) a new HV oil pump, new water pump and 2 new double roller timing chain setups. Man if I could get those LS-7 pistons from Kenny I'd have me a 12:1 454 going soon.
