It makes me realize how lucky I am to have been exposed to cars at a young age.
It makes me feel sorry for some of those who were exposed to drugs, gangbanging, violence, etc. when they were young.
Sorry for your loss KrisR. I was never fortunate to have a relationship with my dad. Mine passed away when I was about 2 1/2. Probably easier though for me not to remember mine than be real close as you were and lose him.

and it had gobs of Power and the thing would go sideways when he would shift it. 
they made learning things about fast cars even more interesting

(I parked it behind the other cars in the driveway and he could not get out, so he got my spare keys) when I came outside my car was gone
so I stood there for a few minutes and figuring he had it, and here he came, down the alley, idling all lumpy, he pulled up where I had the car and shut it off, he got out and said to me, " you better check that thing out, it is idling awful rough" :lol: I told him, that is the way it's suppose to run,
