    To: All Chevrolet Dealers
    From: Ed Peper
Subject: Congratulations Industry Total Sales Leaders!

Great teams are not measured by how they start a race but instead how they finish. Once again, the Chevrolet Dealer Team proved their mettle by finishing the 2007 calendar year with a bang. Thanks to your final push at the end of the year, Chevrolet retail sales last month were up versus December 2006.

The all-new Malibu led the way last month and contributed to a “HUGE” Chevrolet Car month. Retail sales of the Malibu (old and new) were up 99.2% versus December 2006. Simply put, our all-new Malibu is “white” hot. Impala also contributed a 15.5% retail sales increase versus December 2006. In fact, last month saw the best retail sales performance for Malibu and Impala combined since July 2006.

Malibu and Impala were the first among many strong car performances last month. Aveo retail sales were up 82.1% versus December 2006. Not to be left out, Cobalt also contributed a 48.2% retail sales increase versus December 2006. All of these strong individual performances resulted in an overall retail sales increase of 35.7% for Chevrolet Cars.

There were also strong performances from Chevrolet’s Trucks. HHR posted a retail sales increase of 30.8% while Silverado achieved a 3.0% increase.

Thanks to your extra efforts, Chevrolet was the 2007 CY industry total sales leader. For the calendar year, Chevrolet outpaced Ford Division by 164,397 total sales and exceeded Toyota Division’s total sales by 104,174 deliveries.

Please accept a heart-felt THANK YOU for all your great efforts during 2007. This past year only reaffirmed my belief that the Chevrolet Dealer Team is the best in the industry. Now we must turn our attention to winning again in 2008. I have no doubt that this team will continue to fight and we will win together throughout this coming year.

Again, thank you for all your hard work in 2007 - - - wishing you great success in 2008.

    Sincerely,

    Edward J. Peper Jr.
    Chevrolet General Manager
