Pretty interesting.

Kinda reminds me of the flaps the new Corvettes use.

I don't think they'd work for 98 cobra s/c because the valve would get all gunked and carboned up from driving so slow. lol

I think the spring would be ok as the exhaust is run through the pipe, But yes the spring and flap would get awfully hot, Then again the electric cut outs get hot too.
