It's Running!!!

Finally started up the motor! Thanks to Ford XXX and Pool Boy for stoping over. Didn't start as easy as on those tv shows, where they start a new motor and it idles perfect. Had to put a charger on the battery as it would barely turn the motor over. Not a big deal. Got a vid but it is loading up kinda slow so I will post it later. Fired up pretty quick once the battery got charged up. Timing set, ran at 50 psi. oil press., trans seems to work fine even though I found a slight leak (have to look into that). Over all, went pretty damn good.

Someone was ready to place $200 on Duece's chevelle that he'd beat ramair. lol.. I think as we were leaving ramair was harassing ssnova for a race too, don't know what came of that though

I would like to do some racing this year, but I don't want to push it either. Cannot fit the exhaust pipes in and that is where the wide band is located. Gonna try and get some different headers for spring as well as some other parts.

got a ride in the old stang tonight, although it was wet, it seems to catch some pretty wicked rpm's, I am not sure what was more fun, the ride in the car, or the totally scared look on old schools face as he tried to keep his new found power on the road, seems to run good, should be a pretty wild ride once everything is tuned and ready for the track, the wet road sucked but hey, if I had a new mill just itching to get beat I would have drove it too.
