Hey guys, remember me? I moved to Texas but still keep an eye on you guys. lol I picked up a Predator carb that was rebuilt and came off a running Chevelle. It came with lots of new parts and a 1 inch spacer with a vacuum port in it. anyone have any experience running them on a stock 350 on the street. I'd like to put it on my Willys but I have a 700R4 trans that needs a vacuum hookup like my Holley has and this hookup will be different. Not thru the carb. Thought I'd ask and see good and bad before I try it. Otherwise it looks good in the shop on the shelf.

Hi nice to see you again. Things will work but a 700R4 does not use a vacuum source like a turbo 400 does. A 700R4 uses a TV cable to shift right, without the cable it will burn up the transmission right quick. The only problem with using the Predator with the 700R4 is there is not a place to run the cable on the Predator like on a Holley. You may need to weld one on to make it work. Hope this helps.
