BlackZ........let me know if you need any LS7 stuff, I can get you a great deal on most anything. If you know of anyone looking for a ported LS7 intake for pretty cheap let me know. Going a different route! What LS7 stuff did you get? Thought you were going L92 stuff? Traver
Ahh just some LS7 lifters. I havent decided between LS6 and L92 stuff yet. I am going to think it over until my katech rod bolts are off of backorder.

BlackZ......I already dynoed 535 at the rear wheel with my 427 last year so I should be over that or somethings wrong. As for the sleeves.......already had the darton sleeves pressed in it. Thats the reason I stroked it since I tore it down to sleeve it for spraying I figured I might as well stroke it right away! Traver
Good to hear Traver. Good luck with the combo. I have some LS7 parts on the way....

Stock bottom end LQ4, haven't decided on heads and cam yet. I am going to decide when my rod bolts finally come in.
If the cam is correct I could see 525-540 at the tire. Traver, is that stroke OK in a stock LS7 sleeve? The 4.0 is close to the edge IMO on the aluminum LS1/2/3 blocks with stock sleeves. That stroke seems unnecessary, I bet it wont make any more power than your 427 did. It will probably make more torque though.
What are you putting together again?

I saw a thread that TSP got over 600 RWHP out of their 454 set up. So, you ought to be close.

I dont do a whole lot of math so I'm done for a long while
That would suck to change springs every 10-15,000 miles! But lets say you only put on 2,000 miles a year then you wont have to change them for 5-7years, which isnt too bad. But then again a daily driver normally puts on way more miles than that in a year
